Homemade Cashew Milk

I recently started making my own cashew milk because I couldn't find a pre-made one that didn't contain preservatives or carrageenan. This recipe is so delicious and simple you will never go back to buying store-bought again!

Ingredients:
3 cups cold water, plus more for soaking
1/2 cup raw cashews
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 salt
Dash of pure maple syrup (optional)

First, soak your cashes in water. I leave mine sitting on the counter overnight.

Drain and rinse thoroughly. 

Add cashews, water, salt, vanilla, and maple syrup to your blender and blend on high.

Store in a covered container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Enjoy!
